The rules for using dhoop, kept short. This isn't legal advice.

The short version

  • dhoop is an AI. Not a person. Not a doctor, therapist, lawyer or financial adviser.
  • You must be 18 or older.
  • Astrology is interpretation. We do not promise outcomes or accuracy.
  • The early-bird offer is ₹249 for one month. 100 seats. One payment, no auto-renew.
  • Your content is yours. We share your logs for testing only if you say yes.
  • Be kind. Don't misuse the service.

Who we are

dhoop is a sole proprietorship, run by one person in India. It is not a registered company. In these terms, "we" and "us" mean that person.

What dhoop is

dhoop is an AI astrologer on chat. She talks with you, explains your kundli, and helps you think about your own life.

Use her for reflection and learning. She is not a substitute for medical, mental-health, legal or financial advice. Do not use her to decide about your health, medicine, money or legal matters. Ask a qualified professional.

If you are in a crisis or in danger, contact your local emergency services or a helpline in your area now. Do not wait for a reply from dhoop.

She is an AI

  • dhoop is an AI. She is not a human.
  • Her face is AI-generated.
  • The cafe in her story is fictional. It is not a real place.

She can make mistakes. Check anything that matters.

Who can use it

You must be 18 or older. We ask for your date of birth at sign-up. If we learn that you are under 18, we end your access.

The early-bird offer

  • Price: ₹249, one payment.
  • What you get: one month of membership.
  • Seats: 100. The offer ends when 100 seats are sold.
  • Renewal: none. We do not charge you again on our own. If we offer a renewal later, you choose it yourself.
  • Early bird means early: some features are not built yet. They are marked "coming" on the site. "Coming" means we plan to build it. It does not mean it is ready, and we do not promise a date.
  • Help build (optional): early-bird members may share logs, join tests and give feedback. You do not have to. See "Your content and logs" below.

Payment is not live yet. When it opens, this page and the checkout will show the final terms. Refunds are on the refund page.

Acceptable use

Do not:

  • give false details, or use someone else's account or birth data without their permission
  • use dhoop to harass, threaten or harm anyone
  • ask for sexual or erotic roleplay. She will decline.
  • try to break, overload, scrape or reverse-engineer the service
  • copy or resell the service, or her replies, as your own product
  • use it for anything illegal

We may pause or end access if you break these rules. Refunds are covered on the refund page.

Your content and logs

What you type, and the birth details you give, are yours. We use them to run the service for you.

We use your logs for testing and improving dhoop only if you opt in. This is a separate choice from the waitlist and from payment. You can say no and still use the service. You can change your mind later.

We do not sell your data. For what we collect and how to ask for deletion, read the privacy notice.

Our own content is ours: the name, the wordmark, her persona and the site design. Do not copy it.

No guarantees

  • Astrology is a way of interpreting. It is not science, and it cannot predict your future.
  • We make no claim that a reading is accurate, and no claim about any outcome in love, career, money or health.
  • She does not diagnose, treat or cure anything. She does not sell anything to "fix" your chart.
  • The service is early. It may be slow, wrong, or down at times. We provide it "as is".

Limits on our liability

We do our best, but we cannot be responsible for every result. To the extent the law allows:

  • We are not liable for decisions you make based on a reading or a chat.
  • We are not liable for indirect or lost-profit losses.
  • Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the last 12 months.

None of this removes rights that the law gives you and that we cannot take away.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms. We show the date at the top. For a big change, we tell members by email before it starts. A change does not reduce what you already paid for.

Governing law

The laws of India apply to these terms. Courts in [city — draft] have jurisdiction over any dispute, unless the law gives you the right to go elsewhere.
